This site exists to be a one stop place to search for stories within the fandom. Many stories that were hosted on fanfiction.net for example, have been, and many will be removed without notice breaking bookmarks, google results, and fic rec links. Authors often post their stories to multiple sites to allow greater visibility and reach a larger audience.

Rather then have to search each site individually, the goal and aim, is to be able to search one place to find links to these stories. Similarly, if you cant remember where you read a story but remember the name, or author perhaps, a simple search will hopefully point you in the right direction.
